To publish data on Data WA you must first request publishing permissions from Landgate on behalf of your organisation.
Before requesting publishing permissions please make sure you have the appropriate permission from your organisation to share and publish data on their behalf.
To request publishing permissions:
- Complete and submit the 'new data publisher' form to request publishing permissions from Landgate.
- If publishing geospatial data to SLIP, register a SLIP account as soon as possible.
Important: The Data Custodian (publishing organisation) is responsible for the management of this account and the data that is published using it. For more information on the Data Publisher role and responsibilities see Getting Started for Data Publishers and SLIP Custodian Terms and Conditions.
Once your Data WA organisation has been created you will receive an email invitation to finish setting up your Data WA account. The Data WA team will be in touch to confirm any details required, but please reach out to info@data.wa.gov.au if you have any questions or would like to follow up on a request.
