For further information about how to use the widgets in the map, please see the detailed guide here.
How do I print the map?
Open up the print widget from the top bar menu and enter a map title. Choose the layout and the format and then click on advanced. Here you can define some more settings and then click the print button. Once complete the document will appear in the Print box and you can open and then print or save and email.
How do I share the map?
Using the share widget from the top menu bar share the link or embed to a website the map as you see it on your screen. Please note though due to the way the widget handles layer visibilty in the share widget you will not be able to share the map with layer visibility on as it creates too long a URL and will error. We are working with support to try to find a way around this.
How can I go back to the last view of the map after I've closed it?
There are two ways to do this.
The first being setup a bookmark for the view and layer visibility of your current map and then when you return to the map you can use the bookmark widget in the top menu bar to choose the bookmark and go back to where you left off.
The other way is to when you return to the map a small box will appear in the right hand bottom corner of the map saying 'Click here to restore the map extent and layers visibility where you left off'
Please note that with both of these options they will only work if the cache/browser history hasn't been cleared.
How do I find an address?
There are two ways to find an address in the map.
One way is to use the Geocoder address search bar in the top right of the menu bar and type an address. When you hit enter a list of addresses that match what you entered will appear and you can choose the right one.
The other way is to open the query widget from the top menu bar and use the Landgate Address Search to search for an address.
