WA Now Mosaic is a whole of state imagery layer configured as a flattened and seamless single service. With the best resolution and most current images being prioritised, there is often overlap with lower resolution or older images.
ArcMap users can separate out individual images to view parts of the image that are otherwise covered by the overlap.
A similar challenge is faced by users of the WA Regional Aerial Photography Mosaic. Generally, the best way to structure the service has been to separate the layers by year. However occasionally some areas are captured more than once a year.
To enable the separating out of individual images in the WA Regional service, an Image Service version has been created. ArcMap users can now follow the same steps as they would for the WA Now service.
Prerequisites:
- Registered SLIP Account
- Access to the WA Now or WA Regional services
- Esri ArcMap - this guide is based on version 10.6
Viewing one or more individual images

2. Select the Landgate_Subscription_Imagery folder, then drag an Image Service into your ArcMap workspace.
3. Navigate to your area of interest. Right-click the imagery layer and select Open Attribute Table.
