The Data Upload Tool (DUT) currently supports two file formats for data supply: Esri File Geodatabases and Shapefiles.

Wherever possible, it is recommended to use File Geodatabases instead of Shapefiles. Shapefiles are a legacy format that are only supported for backwards compatibility and to provide a non-proprietary non-Esri data format.
