New
- [Supported Data] Added support for raster datasets. An additional imagery workflow process has been added to allow for the creation of a record and upload of imagery type data.
- [Work Flow] Ability to add/change/retire imagery. The Add New Imagery button allows for an imagery application to be created.
The process flow is very similar to that of vector data with the requirements for metadata, contacts and T&Cs acceptance and the ability to create views and add symbology.
The process differs slightly in that it has an Imagery tab rather than a Dataset tab which allows for smaller files of under 1GB to be loaded via the website or for larger images a record to be created for the file and then a path to upload directly to the agency specific S3 folder.
The other key difference with the imagery process is that there is no ability to update live imagery. If imagery requires updating a change process will need to be undertaken to repoint and republish the images.
Improved
- [Data Upload] The Data Upload tab in the dataset process will only be visible once the Preview stage is reached as this is the first time in the process that data is able to be refreshed. This had previously caused confusion as custodians were given the impression that data could be refreshed earlier in the process.
- [UI] Additional information bubbles at the top of the workflow highlight important information about the application.
